Alex Green Insurance, LLC ("AGI," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal and financial information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through alexgreeninsurance.com (the "Site") and our related business operations, how we use and protect it, and your rights regarding that information.

As a licensed Florida insurance agency, we handle certain information that is classified as Nonpublic Personal Information ("NPI") under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ("GLBA"). Our collection, use, and protection of NPI is governed by GLBA and by the insurance privacy and data security regulations enforced by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation and Florida Department of Financial Services, which have primary regulatory authority over how licensed insurance agencies like ours handle this information.

• Contact information you voluntarily submit (name, email, phone number) through our contact or quote-request forms.

As we roll out functionality for submitting policy and application information, and a client portal connected to our policy management system, we will also collect information such as:

• Business information (legal name, entity type, address, operations description, revenue, payroll, and similar exposure data relevant to underwriting);
• Insurance application details (prior loss history, current coverage, requested coverage);
• Information necessary for policy servicing (billing information, policy numbers, claims details);
• Login credentials for the client portal.

We do not currently collect Social Security numbers or bank account details through the public Site; if and when the policy-submission or portal functionality requires this, that collection will occur through a secured, access-controlled connection, and this Policy will be updated accordingly before that functionality goes live.

This Site uses cookies and/or similar tracking technologies (indicated by our cookie consent banner) which may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the Site. This is typically used for site performance analytics (such as Google Analytics) and to improve the Site experience.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and provide insurance quotes;
• Prepare, submit, and service insurance applications and policies on your behalf;
• Communicate with you about your coverage, renewals, and account (see also our Terms and Conditions regarding communications consent);
• Advocate on your behalf with insurance carriers during underwriting, audits, and claims;
• Improve and maintain the Site;
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and licensing obligations.

We share NPI and other personal information only as necessary to service your insurance needs, including with:

• Insurance carriers and underwriters to whom we submit quotes or applications on your behalf;
• Premium finance companies, if you choose to finance your premium;
• Our agency management system and related service providers (such as our policy management platform, currently anticipated to be EZLynx), who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations;
• Regulators or legal authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or regulatory examination.

We do not sell your NPI to unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes. Any sharing of NPI with non-affiliated third parties outside the ordinary course of placing or servicing your insurance will only occur with your consent, or as otherwise permitted or required under GLBA and applicable Florida law. You have the right to opt out of certain types of information sharing where applicable law provides that right; contact us using the information in Section 9 to exercise this right.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, consistent with our obligations as a licensed Florida insurance agency handling NPI. This includes limiting access to personal information to those who need it to service your account, and using secure systems for storing and transmitting sensitive data (including the future client portal connection to our policy management system).

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.

We retain personal and policy information for as long as necessary to service your account, comply with Florida insurance recordkeeping requirements, and satisfy legal, regulatory, and audit obligations. Retention periods may extend beyond the life of your policy as required by applicable law.

Florida's Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR) grants certain consumer data rights but applies primarily to larger "controllers" meeting specific revenue and data-volume thresholds. Based on our current size and operations, AGI does not currently meet those thresholds. We reference this here for transparency: as our agency grows, we will monitor our obligations under FDBR and update this Policy accordingly. In the meantime, we aim to honor the spirit of these protections — including reasonable access and correction requests — as described in Section 9 below.

This Site is intended for business owners and commercial clients and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
